A head hunter is a person who introduces a person with a desired background to

a company that needs it.

헤드헌터는 인력을 필요로 하는 업체에 원하는 이력의 인재를 소개해주는 사람을 말한다.

If you make a hiring through such a head hunter and then overturn it on the day

of joining, it is considered a “unfair dismissal”.

이러한 헤드헌터를 통해 채용을 내정했다가 입사 당일 이를 번복했다면 ‘부당해고’에

해당한다.

The Seoul Administrative Court ruled against the plaintiff in a lawsuit for canceling

the unfair dismissal judgment filed by Company A against the Central Labor Commission.

서울행정법원은 A회사가 중앙노동위원회를 상대로 제기한 부당해고판정 취소소송에서

원고 패소 판결했다.

Company A asked a headhunting company to hire an executive-level manpower who

will be in charge of oversea marketing and was introduced to Mr. B.

A사는 한 헤드헌팅 업체에 해외마케팅 총괄업무를 담당할 간부급 인력 채용을 의뢰해

B씨를 소개 받았다.

After that, after a certain procedure, Company A decided to hire Mr. B and coordinated

by the date of employment, and notified of the change in terms of contract one

month before joining.

이후 일정 절차를 거쳐 B씨를 채용하기로 하고 입사일 까지 조율한 A사는 입사 한 달 전

계약조건 변경을 통지했다.

Then, when Mr. B did not accept the changed terms of the contract, he was notified of

his rejection of employment.

그리고는 B씨가 변경된 계약조건을 받아들이지 않자 돌연 채용불합격을 통보했다.

Mr. B said that Company A unjustly fired him and filed a request for relief.

B씨는 A사가 자신을 부당하게 해고했다며 구제신청을 했다.

Company A, who disobeyed the judgment of the labor authorities, filed a lawsuit, but

the court also raised Mr. B's hand.

노동당국의 판단에 불복한 A사가 소송을 제기했지만, 재판부 또한 B씨의 손을 들어줬다.
