In this law, “insured” refers to an employee who is insured or deemed to have
been insured under the “Insurance Premium Collection Act”.

"Unemployment" refers to being in a state of being unemployed despite the
willingness and ability to work.

The term "recognition of unemployment" means that the head of a job security
agency recognizes that a qualified recipient is actively trying to find a job
while unemployed.

The term "reward" means the amount obtained by subtracting money and
goods prescribed by Presidential Decree from earned income under the Income Tax Act.

during a period of leave of absence or other similar conditions, money and
goods determined and notified by the Minister of Employment and Labor shall be
deemed remuneration.

"Daily worker" means a person who is employed for less than one month.
